Paignton Pier
Paignton Pier is a centre of attraction for the whole family and the beauty of it is it’s free to visit all year round.
Paignton Pier is set at the centre of one of Torbay’s best beaches, within an easy level walk to the town centre , station and buses, the pier has plenty of parking nearby, many attractions on the open deck and inside, plus magnificent views of Torbay.
The added bonus is that the beautiful beach stretching alongside is free to visit as well as the lovely open space that is Paignton Green, so families can take time out to play all day in the holidays, after school and in the light evenings.
Over the years, since it first opened to the public in 1879, Paignton Pier has seen many improvements but the seaside appeal and charm has remained with some parts of the original pier’s structure still visible and many new welcome attractions have been added over the years.
