The Trenchermans Guide to the South West’s gastronomic hot spots lists 55 award-winning restaurants in the region. Each has at least two AA rosettes or a Michelin star. The Guide is a tick-list for anyone who loves fine dining. Since it was first drawn up a few years ago by a committee which included top South West chefs Rick Stein and Michael Caines, it has thrived.

Devon is right at the forefront of the UK’s good food revolution.
